Sere Bites Spicy Chicken Nuggets


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken thigh fillets (or breast cut into nugget like pieces)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ginger and garlic paste
  • 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt
  • 2 large eggs (beaten with little salt)
  • breadcrumbs
  • oil (for deep frying) 


         Method

  •  But i recommend tamarind sauce and serve on a bed of lettuce

Sere Bites Spicy Fish fingers

Tired of eating the same recipe of fish over and over again? Try Sere Bites fish fingers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb fish, any white, flaky fish, cut into 3” x 2” portion
  • Oil, for frying

SPICES
  • 1 teaspoon, ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon, ground garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoon Baking Flour
 LET US COOK
  1. Wash and clean the fish removing any pin bones
  2. Cut the fish in serving sizes, about 3” long and 2” wide pieces
  3. Combine all ingredients under the batter/marinade and add the cut pieces of fish to the batter.
  4. Allow the fish to rest in the batter/marinade for about 30 min
  5. Heat oil for frying the fish, approximately 375 degree
  6. Fry marinated fish fingers until golden brown, about 5 minutes
Serve hot garnished with sliced onion rings, lemon wedges, and coconut chutney   VIA

Sugar craze popcorn balls

Having a kids party and you want really cool snacks, try this easy to make popcorn balls

Ingredients
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups corn syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • Large bowl of popcorn> already popped (about 6-8 quarts)
Instructions
  1. Heat brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt to simmering.
  2. Boil rapidly for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour over popcorn and stir until all the popcorn is covered.
  4. Allow to rest until cool enough to handle.
  5. Cover hands with sandwich bags and form into balls.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Wrap individually in plastic bags.
To make it more fun, you can add food color in step number 1.

You can also place a skewer for it to be held easier

Fruit salad on a stick

Fun way to eat healthy... Fruit frenzy

Ingredients; Serves 4

3 Large apple mangoes
4 Tangerines
Handful of grapes
medium size sweet melon
20 skewers

Wash all the fruits and peel. you can cut the mangoes, sweet melon into cubes or any other design. Leave the grapes whole while the tangerine will be sliced.

wash the skewers and add the fruits on the skewers with any arrangement you like.

Ingredients:

  • 2   whole Chiquita Bananas (best with brown flecks on peel)
  • 3   cups Ice
  • 1   cup Milk OR Vanilla Yogurt
